Flux pail
Anachemia’s custom flux formulations are made specific to the needs of mining customers doing fire assay analysis. The flux is prepared according to the customer’s specific recipes or Anachemia will recommend a flux formula based on the material to be assayed (as supplied by the customer). Anachemia’s custom flux formulations are available from three locations, Canada, United States and Chile, to service mining laboratories worldwide.
Litharge choices:
We offer two grades of litharge
- Assay Grade-which has less than 1 ppb Gold and 0.16 ppm silver
- Gold Free-which has less than 1 ppb Gold and 3 ppm Silver.
Both of these are available in either granular or powder form. An anti-dust agent is added to all our pre-mixed fluxes unless we are instructed otherwise.
Quality Control:
To ensure quality control on our products a 1000-gram sample is taken from all batches of pre-mixed flux and a portion of this sample is analyzed for gold content by an independent laboratory, before shipment to the customer. The remaining sample is stored for a three month period and is available, should there be a question regarding the original analyses. C of A’s are available upon request. MSDS sheets are provided for all custom formulations.
Packaging:
Pre-mixed flux is available in 2 different types of packaging
Plastic pails: which contain 20 to 22.7kgs of flux depending on litharge content
Tote bags: various sizes.
Shipping:
When shipping by ocean or air both the pails and tote bags meet UN regulations and are labelled accordingly. All pails and tote bags also have labels that show, customers name, formula, batch number and purchase order number.
